This grant will be awarded to a School of Business PhD student working on a dissertation with an international component, with preference given to students whose research has relevance for the manufacturing industry.  Priority will be given to students who incur extra expenses as a result of pursuing international research. Please attach a proposal including information on your dissertation, a budget for your expenses, and a statement of support from your advisor, to an email by April 1st to ciber.general@business.uconn.edu.

The 2015 recipient of the CIBER International Business Dissertation Support Fellowship was Andrew Duxbury.

Please note, the following rules apply:

• All money must be spent by September 30, 2016.
• Do not include any meals as part of your expenses.
• If you are requesting international travel , it must be on a US carrier in accordance with the Fly America Act.
• If you are requesting international travel, you must be able to provide all of the flight details at least 35 days in advance for federal approval.
